About Circles

Starting on October 3, Heights of Hope will be partnering with Good Samaritan Ministries to offer Circles at our new community center.  Circles is a national program designed to empower and equip families to move out of poverty and thrive. The method is intentionally relationship and community driven. To learn more in depth about the program, check out the Circles USA webpage.

There are multiple ways that individuals and families can engage with Circles! Here are the four most practical ways:

  1. Circle Leaders: Circle leaders are individuals who are looking to make life changes through participating in Circles.  These will be the people setting goals (financial, educational, etc.) to help them gain better financial security. Time commitment= Every Tuesday from 6-8pm starting October 3.
  2. Circle Allies: Friends and community members who commit to supporting and encouraging a Circle Leader through relationship building and consistency.  Time commitment= Every Tuesday 6-8pm starting in January or February 2018.
  3. Provide a Meal. A crucial part of the process is joining in meals together as a community.  We are looking for individuals, families, small groups or businesses that would be willing to provide a meal for a group of 20-30 people. To sign up for a meal, click here:  Heights of Hope Circles Meal Sign Up
  4. Join a Resource Team (Education, Jobs, Community) that supports our Circles group with special events, training, and resources.  Time commitment= varies depending on needs, but attending a Circles meeting every 1-2 months. To learn more about Resource Teams, click here: Resource Team Brochure
